It all begins with the makers. They create, invent, build and inspire. They fuel the entrepreneurial spirit.  We are a nation of tinkerers, inventors, and creators. And this population that makes is growing with  more direct access than ever before to technological tools, allowing them to design and a construct almost anything!

Help us promote the art of making in Michigan’s Great Southwest as Cornerstone Alliance, Berrien County’s lead economic development organization in partnership with Berrien County Regional Education Service (RESA), Kinexus, St. Joseph Today at the first ever Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm at Whirlpool Centennial Park (just below the bluff) in St. Joseph, Michigan.

The Alliance believes in innovation and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in our community. We work with local talent to help them launch and grow their small businesses. These individuals are makers!
