The Fort St. Joseph Archaeological Project is an ongoing partnership between WMU, the City of Niles and other local groups to excavate, interpret, and preserve the material remains of Fort St. Joseph, founded by the French in 1691.

Using a Mini-Lathe is an easy way to make a variety of useful items. I specialize in making pens from both wood and acrylic. I plan to have a Mini-Lathe set up to demonstrate and promote the Lake Michigan College Fab Lab.
We are a family friendly booth for everyones enjoyment. We make candles! But instead of heat we use sand wax that is easy to pour. You can pour it into individual jars to make a beautiful candle! The possibilities are endless with these candles.
If you can dream it, you can make it at the Fab Lab! Often big ideas come with big investments in technology or equipment. But with the Fab Lab at Lake Michigan College, we can take you from inspiration to creation in one space.
Stop by this station and create your own wand. Attendees will decorate chopsticks to fit their needs. Design and decorate with nail polish, hotglue, glitter, sparkles, and whatever else we can find!
