In 2015, the Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire made its debut to the area, and had over 1,500 visitors many of whom were busy creating, tinkering and m
aking things from a 3-d printer, launching rockets, and cheering for their favorite robot. This year’s event expects even more students and other young makers to participate in hands-on exhibits, and activities.

Cornerstone Alliance believes that events like the Maker Faire help shape tomorrow’s workforce in Berrien County. It is also a unique way for the local companies we work with, especially manufacturers, to connect with today’s youth. Economic development starts with job creation. What a great way to introduce our young talent to the endless possibilities of what the world of making can offer.
